FAQ
Below you will find most frequently asked questions and answers about MedCare Logistics LLC.
Do you fly or deliver by boat?
No. MedCare Logistics is a ground-only courier. We do not offer air or water transport.

Do you serve outside Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach?
Not at this time. All services are within South Florida’s tri-county area.

Can you handle temperature-sensitive items?
Yes—when they’re packed in client-prepared insulated containers. We do not provide active refrigeration.

What proof of delivery do I receive?
Time-stamped POD with recipient name and optional photo/signature.

Do you offer scheduled routes?
Yes. We set up daily/weekly runs and dedicated driver programs for recurring needs.

Are your drivers trained and certified?
Yes. Our independent contractor couriers complete role-appropriate training with verifiable certificates, including: HIPAA Awareness & Confidentiality, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP), Specimen Transport/UN 3373 (49 CFR) awareness, Chain-of-Custody & Proof-of-Delivery procedures, and Safe Driving/GPS best practices. They follow our ground-only handling protocols and client SOPs.

Do your drivers need HAZMAT endorsements?
Not for our standard work. We transport properly packaged medical supplies and Biological Substance, Category B (UN 3373) prepared by the client; this typically requires function-specific awareness training under 49 CFR, not a CDL HAZMAT endorsement.

How do you protect privacy and chain of custody?
We use case/order IDs instead of PHI on labels, sealed packaging, time-stamped pickup/delivery, and signature/photo POD. Chain-of-custody forms are captured and returned per client instructions. All transport is by road within Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach (no air or water).
